Elon Musk, CEO Twitter, told BBC that his dog Floki was the CEO of the social media platform. He also said that Floki wears black turtlenecks, the same outfit Elizabeth Holmes, disgraced CEO of Theranos, wore.
Musk corrected James Clayton during a live interview on Twitter Spaces. Clayton called Musk Twitter's CEO.
"I'm not Twitter's CEO. My dog is Twitter's CEO. Musk jokingly said that Musk's dog is a great, alert dog.
Clayton asked him earlier about Musk's successor to the CEO position. He responded that Floki was the one who had been chosen.
Musk said, "He has a black turtleneck. What do you need?" Musk spoke in the interview that took place in San Francisco's Twitter headquarters on Tuesday night.
Clayton asked Musk "Steve Jobs or Elizabeth Holmes? Are you making a reference to them?"
"I think more Elizabeth Holmes. Musk stated that he has a quiet voice.
Holmes was the CEO of Theranos, a failed startup for blood testing. In January 2022, Holmes was convicted and sentenced to over 11 years imprisonment for four wire fraud convictions.
Monday's hearing resulted in a denial by a judge of her request to be released while she appeals her conviction. She will report to prison on April 27, according to her schedule.
Musk joked that his dog was Twitter CEO in a BBC interview. Musk tweeted a February photo of his Shiba Inu sitting at his desk wearing a black shirt that had the word "CEO".
Musk tweeted, "The new CEO Twitter is amazing," on February 14.

Musk's love for his dog led him to redesign Twitter's interface.
Musk replaced Twitter’s bird logo with the Shiba Inu (or doge) meme on April 3. The price of dogecoin (a cryptocurrency Musk supports) soared 20% after this change.
An additional meme cryptocurrency token, named after his dog Floki, rose 200% in value over the previous year. It beat other Musk favorites like Shiba Inu and dogecoin.
Musk has had many pets, other than his Shiba Inu. Musk once owned a Yorkshire Terrier named Hobbes after Thomas Hobbes (17th-century philosopher). Musk described it as "nasty brutish & brief."
Musk posted in April 2019 that he had "a big dog named Gatsby, and a little dog named Marvin the Martian and a cat called Schrodinger."
Musk's son X was seen with Grimes in August playing with Floki, two dogs, and Floki in a tweet.
