Google warned its employees earlier this week that the company was intensifying its "back-to-the office" campaign and that attendance at work would be considered in employee performance evaluations.
Ironic, perhaps, that the company behind many of the tools that enable people to work remotely around the globe is also moving away from WFH.

1. A Tesla Gigafactory In France? Elon Musk is expected to travel to Paris next week to attend the VivaTech Conference. Speculations are rife about his trip. This event brings together investors, tech leaders and startups. It is expected to host some of the most prominent businessmen, such as Marc Benioff and Bernard Arnault.
- Musk has two major tasks to complete: he must increase production at Tesla in the next decade, and he must get Twitter's advertising revenues to grow. Next week, he has the chance to take on both tasks.
- Musk will have the opportunity to meet Maurice Levy at the VivaTech conference, who is the Chairman of Publicis. Publicis is one of the largest advertising agencies in the world. This should give him the opportunity to promote Twitter and its new CEO to the advertising industry.
- The presence of Musk at the event may also be a boon to Tesla's search for its new Gigafactory, a quest which involves a great deal of diplomacy.
