Many people were drawn to a photograph of a prototype of Tesla’s Cybertruck that surfaced in the media last month. They focused on its single large windshield wiper and the large area of the passenger-side windshield that was apparently left dirty.
A YouTuber captured drone footage showing the electric truck with its windshield wiper working. This gives us a birds' eye view of what it would look like in a finished product.
Brad Sloan posted a video on YouTube Thursday showing drone footage of a Cybertruck with its windshield wiper, and what appeared to be an employee carrying squirt bottle.
A photo posted on Twitter in March by Tesla's design head Franz von Holzhausen, showed him standing before a prototype of Cybertruck. The truck's windscreen wiper was unable to clean a large portion of the window behind him.
A leaked video from last year showed a prototype of the large windscreen wiper, which was designed to meet US road safety standards.
Elon Musk tweeted his concern about the large windshield of the Cybertruck and its windshield wipers.
Elon Musk said in December 2021, "The wiper bothers me the most." "A deployable wiper that can be stowed in the front trunk would make it ideal, but complicated."
Cybertruck is still under development. The model and windshield washer shown in the video might not make it into the final product. Insider reported that the release date of the vehicle had also been delayed three times. Reuters reported that the release date of the truck has been pushed back due to design changes.
