- Twitter has gone viral with fake images of Musk kissing robot women and other bizarre scenarios.
Elon Musk, the billionaire Twitter owner, is the most popular subject for users to post AI-generated images.
A picture of Musk as an infant is making its rounds on Twitter. It has received 4.5 million views. The image shows Musk as a child with his trademark brown hair, wearing a brown overall and a white shirt collar.
The fake image was captioned by the parody account who posted it: "BREAKING Elon Musk reportedly worked on an anti-aging formula, but it got out of control."

Musk, who engages with commenters regularly on social media, responded in a humorous way: "Guys I think I may have taken too much."
Images generated by AI platforms such as Midjourney Stable Diffusion and Dall.E2 are flooding the platform.
Henry Ajder is an AI expert who serves on the European advisory board for Meta's Reality Labs. He told Insider previously that AI images displayed on Midjourney have a "very stylized, almost glossy, plasticized appearance".
One account, @elonmuskids which posts pictures of Musk when he was a kid, clarifies on its profile that the images are "100% ai-generated."
Images of Musk kissing his "robot wife" have been spreading across the platform, but it was quickly revealed that they were created by AI. Some users even claimed falsely that Musk's company would release "Robot Wives", a product, later this year.
Musk was also drawn to an image created by Midjourney of Musk in Indian wedding attire. Musk replied, "I love that!"
Musk is not the only public figure who has been the subject of AI experiments. Social media users have been tricked by fake images of Donald Trump being arrested or Pope Francis wearing a white Balenciaga jacket.
Ajder warned Insider about the fake images that "slowly chip away our trust in visual medium and make it more difficult to navigate truth."
