Elon Musk claimed that the US Constitution was his most treasured possession. He tweeted a photo of a different perspective after a previous photo went viral in November.
Elon Musk tweeted a new photo of his bedside table Monday. This time, he was showing off a copy of the US Constitution and other books about America’s founding.
Musk tweeted the image as a response to an account tweeting reported quotes from the billionaire. This account tweeted: “The Constitution has more power than any president. End of story.

Musk responded with a photo of three leather-bound books on his bedside table. They are “The Declaration of Independence”, “The Constitution of the United States of America” and “Washington’s Rules of Civility by George Washington”. They are under what appears to be an red festive card.
Musk claimed that the books were his “most treasured possession on my bedside table”.
Musk tweeted the background in November, featuring a set coasters and the corner from a painting depicting George Washington crossing Delaware River.
His bizarre collection of items at his bedside table was the subject of his first tweet in November. He also had a painting and an ashtray, and he was seen to have four Diet Cokes and two replica guns next to him as he slept.
Musk also highlighted the books in Monday’s original post, but they could not be identified.
Logan Paul was one of the influencers and public figures who posted parody photos of their bedside tables in response to the November tweet. Paul’s featured a gun as well as a Polaroid camera and energy drinks, and a Pikachu Pokemon Card.
Musk’s latest photo highlighting the US Constitution may be another reference his self-proclaimed devotion to the First Amendment right of freedom of speech. This stance has been weakening in recent weeks, as he removed accounts from journalists he claimed were “doxxing”.
