In a tweet, a Tesla investor attacked Elon Musk for “killing” the company by his antics. “Joe Cirincione advised Musk to “get off Twitter” because the value of his shares had been “cut in half.” “Major Tesla shareholder KoGuan Leo stated Wednesday that Musk had “abandoned his commitment to Tesla.

In a tweet, a Tesla investor attacked Elon Musk and claimed that the Twitter owner was “killing” the company by his antics.

Joe Cirincione is a national security analyst, author and tweeted that he wanted Musk to “get off Twitter.” According to him, his shares have lost half their value since Musk announced that he would purchase Twitter.

“I am a @Tesla shareholder and I want @elonmusk off @Twitter. Since he took over this platform, my shares have lost half of their value. Cirincione tweeted, “I love my Model 3 but he’s killing the company by his antics.”

Cirincione’s remarks come just days after KoGuan Leo (a major Tesla shareholder) said in a Tweet that Musk had “abandoned” his responsibilities to Tesla and called for a replacement chief Executive to take over.

“Elon abandoned Tesla, and Tesla has no working CEO.” Leo tweeted Wednesday that Tesla deserves a full-time CEO.

He said: “What Tesla BOD [board or directors] should do, is do nothing?” Elon will be able to find his successor under BOD independent supervision.

Musk was also criticized for suspending journalists who criticised him on Twitter this week. After a Twitter Spaces discussion in which journalists challenged his decision to ban an account that tracks his private plane, Musk decided to temporarily ban reporters.

Then, he said that he would restore journalists’ accounts Friday after a tweet poll to his followers asking whether he should suspend accounts that “doxxed his real-time position “now” or “in a week.”

Insider reached out to Tesla and Cirincione for comment but they did not respond immediately.
