His family is full of rebels and entrepreneurs, including his sister Tosca Riley, a filmmaker, and his ex-wife Talulah Riley, an actress.

He has nine children, and he also has a large brood. Two new members were added to the Tesla and SpaceX CEO's family by his ex-girlfriend, musician Grimes. A baby boy was born in May 2020, and a second, initially hidden baby girl, conceived via surrogate 2021.

According to documents obtained from Insider, he had quietly given birth to twins in November with Shivon Zilis (one of his top executives). His daughter with Grimes was also born weeks earlier than the twins.

Musk, who was born in Pretoria (South Africa) and immigrated to Canada as an adolescent, already had a large family, which included two ex-wives and a pair of twins and a trio of triplets.

According to Elon Musk's 2017 Rolling Stone profile, Errol Musk has a genius-level IQ. He was also the youngest person to get a South African professional engineer's certificate.

Elon moved in with his father when he was a kid after his parents divorced. According to Rolling Stone, Errol was working at the time in construction and emerald mines.

In 2018, Errol was the subject of headlines when it was revealed that Errol had a child in 2018 with Jana Bezuidenhout (his former stepdaughter), who he has known since Errol was four years old. The elder Musk announced that he had a second child in 2022 with Bezuidenhout.

It appears that Elon and Errol have a difficult relationship. Rolling Stone reported that Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in 2017 that his father was "a terrible human being".

Musk stated, "You don't know how bad it is." Musk has committed almost every crime that you can think of.

Errol answered a question about whether he was proud to be a father by answering it last year on an Australian radio program.

He answered, "No." "Well, you know that we are a family who have done a lot for a long period of time. It's not like we just started doing something.

Later, Errol said that he misunderstood the question.

Musk's father revealed to the Daily Mail that Musk had asked him to be quiet since Musk was a teenager to stop talking to the media.

Maye Musk, Elon Musk’s mother, is a model and dietitian. [TAG3][TAG17]

Maye started modeling at the age of 15 According to The New York Times, Maye has been featured on Special K cereal boxes and on the cover of Time magazine. She has also walked in New York Fashion Week shows.

She became a CoverGirl spokesperson in 2017 at the age of 69.

Maye was married until 1979 to Errol Musk. She described their abusive relationship in a Harper's Bazaar interview. Maye Musk, her three children and their divorce decree saw them move to Canada, where they started a business as dietitians.

Although the model claimed she worked several jobs to support her children's needs, she doesn't take credit for their success.

She is now a vocal supporter for Elon on social networking and even appeared on "Saturday Night Live," 2021 with her son. The Times reported earlier this year that Maye was even spotted at some of Elon’s Twitter meetings.

Kimbal Musk is Elon Musk’s younger brother. He is a restaurateur, and philanthropist. [TAG4][TAG18]

Kimbal is also the founder of The Kitchen Restaurant Group (a non-profit called Big Green) and Square Roots (an urban-farming business).

Kimbal, Elon and Elon moved from South Africa to Canada as teenagers. He founded Zip2 with Elon in 1999 and sold it for around $300 million. He was an investor at PayPal and sits on the boards of SpaceX and Tesla.

Kimbal, who had made millions, enrolled at the French Culinary Institute, New York. In 2010, he broke his neck in a tube accident, and decided to dedicate his career to food.

Kimbal was married twice. He first wed Jen Lewin, an artist, and later to Big Green. They have two children together.

Christiana Wyly was his bride, the daughter of ex-billionaire Sam Wyly. They were married in an intimate Dallas wedding in 2018.

Kimbal recently announced that he would open a restaurant at Austin, Texas, in 2024.

Kimbal tweeted, "Austin feels like a second home since @Tesla & @ElonMusk moved here a few years back."

Tosca Musk is Elon Musk's younger sister and runs Passionflix, a streaming service. [TAG5][TAG19]

Tosca has been making movies since 2001. She has produced more than 50 films to date according to her IMDb page.

Passionflix is a streaming service that allows you to watch movies that are adapted from romance novels. She is also the CEO and cofounder of the company. Musk founded the company in 2016, and it has raised more than $12 million from investors, including Kimbal.

The New York Times featured Tosca's streaming service last year. It was described by The Times as a "sexy Hallmark Channel." It is available in approximately 150 countries, and it costs $6 per month.

The content is organized based upon a "barometer for naughtiness" that is indicated by a series flame emojis. These flame emojis rank a movie from 1 to 5, from "Oh So Vanilla" through "NSFW" and "Toe Curling Yumminess."

Tosca Musk stated to the Times that most people don't see romance as intellectually stimulating. I think this is incorrect. Romance is about validating your emotions. It is about removing all shame surrounding sexuality. It's about sharing positive stories.

Tosca is single and has two children. They are twins Grayson and Isabeau.

Lyndon Rive, the cofounder of SolarCity, is Elon Musk's cousin. [TAG6][TAG20]

SolarCity was founded in 2006 by Lyndon Rive and his brother Peter. He was the CEO of the company until it was purchased by Tesla for $2.6billion in 2016. Rive was the head of sales at Tesla's energy division from 2016 to 2017.

Musk won a shareholder lawsuit last year over the SolarCity acquisition. A Tesla shareholder accused the company, claiming that it was trying to rescue his cousin's company. He called it a conflict-of-interest.

Rive, along with his brothers Russ, and Peter, founded Everdream Software in 1999, before launching SolarCity. Eight years later, they sold it to Dell for $120million.

Justine Wilson met Elon Muss while attending Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario. Musk transferred to the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, but they reconnected when Musk began working on his first startup while Justine worked on her first novel.

They eventually moved to Los Angeles, where they had Nevada, a son. He was only 10 weeks old when SIDS took him away. The couple eventually had twins and three-legged children — five total.

Musk began dating Talulah Riley after Justine divorced. Six weeks later, they were engaged.

In 2010, Riley and Musk were married. Musk and Riley were married in 2010. You will always be my best friend. Riley tweeted, "You will make someone very happy in one day."

In 2013, the couple got back together. Musk filed for — and then withdrew — a second divorcement the year after. In 2016, Riley applied for divorce from Musk. The divorce was finalized later in the year.

However, the two men remained good friends.

She told People that she and her husband still see each other every day and take care of one another.

According to Bloomberg, Riley was seen in Musk's private messages last year. These texts were revealed during Twitter's lawsuit against him. She called on Musk to combat "woke-ism" in the weeks before his $44 billion offer for Twitter.

"Please, buy Twitter and then delete it!" Musk was allegedly text messaged by xx" Riley on March 24, according to reports. "America is going INSANE."

Claire Boucher is Grimes' real name. She began dating Elon Musk in 2018. [TAG12][TAG26]

Musk and Grimes were both present at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual Costume Institute Gala in May 2018. Page Six reported at the time that they had been "quietly dating for a few weeks".

They met on Twitter as Musk planned to make a joke about artificial Intelligence and found out that Grimes had defeated him.

Grimes uploaded a nude photo to her Instagram account and Twitter in January 2020 that showed her pregnant, with a fetus Photoshopped onto her stomach. Later, she confirmed that Musk was her husband and they were expecting a child. The baby was born in May 4.

The couple named their son X AE-Xii after a CIA plane called "Archangel".

Musk revealed to Page Six in September 2021 that he had split with Grimes. Musk stated that they were "semi-separated", but still loved one another and "are on great terms."

Grimes, in a Vanity Fair profile published in March 2022, revealed that Musk and Grimes had a second child through Exa Dark Siderael Musk (but they refer to her as "Y").
