Elon Musk’s brother stated that there is a lack of appreciation for Twitter’s “awesome mute button.” Kimbal Musk claimed that the button was not being used enough.

Kimbal Musk spoke at a Twitter Space hosted by Lex Fridman and discussed “How to improve Twitter” as well as some of the changes that his brother, Alex Musk, made since he took over the company’s operations on October 27.

He said that Twitter’s “mute button” is not appreciated enough. “Muting is a great way to tidy up your Twitter feed.

“This feature is not used enough on Twitter, and I believe my brother plans to include it in the algorithm.”

Insider requested comment from Twitter but Twitter did not immediately respond.

Kimbal Musk is one year older than his brother, 51, and owns The Kitchen Restaurant Group, which has locations in Colorado, Chicago,, and Indianapolis. According to the company’s LinkedIn page, dining at its restaurants feels like “a celebration at your best friend’s home.”

Kimbal Musk said that he enjoyed the “entertaining” side of Twitter and wishes there were more. He said that while he is not a fan of political debates, such as the tax returns of former President Donald Trump, he loves Twitter when it gets entertaining.

Kimbal Musk said, “Man! How do we get more?”
