Congressmen Speak Out
On April 5, a crowd of 100,000 gathered at the Washington Monument to protest the DOGE attacks on federal workers, including those at Veterans Affairs, Social Security, the Consumer Finance Bureau, USAID, and more. The protesters made it clear to the Trump administration that these attacks were not only harming Americans but also damaging relationships worldwide.
Lawmakers Take a Stand
Congressmen Eric Swalwell (D-CA), Al Green (D-TX), and John Garamendi (D-CA) spoke to TRNN reporters Taya Graham and Stephen Janis about their determination to fight against the attacks. They emphasized the importance of a groundswell of public support and Congressman Green's plan to end President Trump's term early by filing articles of impeachment.
