Tiffany & Co. has teamed up with Nike on a $400 sneaker. Sneakerheads don’t like it.

It's official. It's official. A Nike and Tiffany & Co sneaker collaboration is coming soon.

The collaboration was promoted by both companies via social media over the weekend. In separate Instagram posts the retailers revealed the shoe box that will be used for the new sneaker. Tiffany and Nike also ran full-page ads in Sunday's print editions of The New York Times, featuring the words "A Legendary Pair".

According to leaked images online, the sneaker is called the Nike Air Force 1 Low Tiffany & Co. 1837. It features an all-black nubuck upper with a swoosh made in Tiffany blue, which is the medium robin eggs blue used in the brand's jewelry boxes.

Although the collaboration was rumored for several weeks, it is now expected that it will be released this spring at a retail price of $400. According to Sole Retriever, shoe quantities will be limited.

This is Tiffany & Co's first partnership with Nike. The jeweler's colors were used as inspiration for the Nike SB Dunk and Diamond Supply Co in 2005. This was a popular collaboration with Nike. The shoe is available for resale starting at $1,850 via StockX.

As Tiffany tries to get rid of its outdated image and attract younger customers, the collab is a natural result. Since LVMH bought the brand in 2021, Tiffany has been involved with a variety of collabs. This includes partnering up with Jay-Z and Beyonce. Gucci, another brand that is owned by LVMH has also released several collabs.

The collaboration between Nike and Tiffany & Co. has not been well received by sneaker enthusiasts on Twitter. Some people are calling the shoe design lazy.
