  • X, formerly Twitter, has a brand new motto that sounds like a '80s-style cover band.
  • "Blaze Your Glory!" is the new tagline of the app. Apple App Store.
  • Elon Musk has just made the latest update to his rebranding of Twitter as an "everything" app.

X, the app formerly called Twitter, has a new motto that sounds a bit too similar to a Bon Jovi tune.

"Blaze your glory!" The Apple App Store page for the app now says "Blaze your glory!" This is a change to the previous tagline, "Let's Talk."

Elon Musk has rebranded Twitter as X, a phrase that is both declarative and reminiscent an '80s band.

The internet has no idea what this phrase means. Musk tweeted this phrase on Monday without further explanation, leaving its users to speculate and make jokes about the origin.

The billionaire has announced his plans to turn X into "everything" app, allowing users to perform more than simply post or message.

In April, Musk established X Corp. to be the official parent company for Twitter. Musk then changed the logo of the app earlier this month. He announced that the platform will "bid adieu" to the Twitter brand, and "gradually, all the birdies," in what used to be called a tweet but is now known as "an x."

The famous blue bird is not visible on the X app page in the iOS store.

It is possible that the rebranding has worked.

Some users ridiculed the X logo for its pornographic connotations, but a CivicScience study found that 36% of the daily users of the platform in the past six months viewed the rebranding as X positively compared to the 27% who did not.

Insider contacted X for a comment. X replied with its now infamous automated motto: "We will get back to soon."
