Elon Musk responded to a Twitter conversation about his management style. This has been more scrutinized since he assumed control of the social networking site.
One user (@TSLAFanMtl) wrote that he disagreed about Musk's affordability and the demand for Tesla cars. One of Musk's followers responded: "To believe you're smarter that Elon Musk."
@TSLAFanMtl replied, "Do you think that I'm smarter than Elon?" No. Does this mean that he or the management get everything 100% right? No. We must not become a cult. Let's be objective. This is a cultist answer.
Whole Mars Catalog, an account that interacts frequently with Tesla CEO, seems to agree and praise the openness of Musks company management methods. "What I love most about Tesla Twitter? That we can debate and discuss what the company should be doing, have employees and management participate in that discussion & try to push the company and its mission forward."
Whole Mars Catalog said, "Elon knows best" is a horrible argument. "He can be great, but also dumb."
Musk confessed that he was dumber than he would like to be.

Musk's methods for turning around Twitter since he took over the company in October have been questioned.
CNBC reports that Musk has cut more than half of the workforce. Now, there are only about 1,300 employees. Musk also fired top executives and workers who criticised his leadership.
In November, he gave an ultimatum to employees asking them to work "long hours at high intensity" or to be laid off.
The billionaire sent an email to all remaining Twitter employees at the end of March to inform them that he had ended his work-from-home policy in November and that they were required to come to the office.
However, his management style at Tesla and other companies where he has previously given office ultimatums have been under scrutiny.
Musk instructed Tesla executives in June 2013 to stop "phoning" it in and come into the office or quit.
Whole Mars Catalog asked Musk at the time how he would react to people who considered in-person work "antiquated." Musk replied on Twitter: "They should pretend that they work somewhere else."
Insider reached out to Musk and Twitter for comment, but they didn't respond immediately.
