Embarrassing Mishap
Kohler, the plumbing-fixture company based in Kohler, WI, has issued a recall for 30,000 bathtubs that were shipped with a nude man already inside. The company acknowledged a mix-up at their manufacturing plant that led to the unexpected situation.
Awkward Discovery
The bathtubs, which were supposed to be freestanding claw-foot models, arrived with a sudsy naked man pre-installed. During transit, the layer of soap bubbles covering the men's bodies dissipated, leaving them fully exposed, much to the surprise of customers.
Apology and Resolution
Kohler spokesperson Diane McCardle issued an apology to customers who found an unexpected guest in their new tubs. Customers have the option to return the tub and the undressed man for a full refund or keep them both at a 20% discount. Additionally, Kohler announced they would be sending out warm fluffy towels to the affected individuals.
