Perhaps Elon Musk has a mistakenly given himself a new name.

During a tension-filled moment during Musk's Monday testimony, an attorney representing shareholders sued Elon Musk mistakenly called him "Mr. Tweet".

Nicholas Porritt, an attorney, called the gaffe "Freudian slip," but Musk laughed that it was "probably an accurate description."

Musk, the CEO and the owner of Twitter, has not shied away ever from using the platform.

The interaction between Porritt, Musk took place during a Tesla shareholder trial in which Musk was accused of securities fraud via Twitter. Musk is accused of manipulating Tesla's stock prices by sending a tweet in 2018 claiming he was looking to take Tesla private for $420 per share and with "funding secured".

Musk was able to defend the tweet in court. He stated that he wanted shareholders to know his intent. Musk stated that he believed the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund would support his plan to privatize the company.

Musk testified that the deal was never made and accused the fund of "backpedaling", after the tweet was sent.
