A video shared by Florida Governor. Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign seems to include AI-generated images of former president Donald Trump and former White House Chief Medical Advisor Anthony Fauci hugging each other and kissing.
Images were included in a video posted by DeSantis War Room on Twitter, Monday. The video highlighted the relationship between Trump & Fauci.
The clip includes real clips of Trump, Fauci and others who were involved in the development of COVID-19.
Media forensics experts have told AFP that three of six images featuring the couple together in a clip appear to be AI generated.
Insider did not receive a response from DeSantis or DeSantis campaign.

The images were almost certainly AI generated, said Professor Many Ford of the University of California at Berkeley.
Three of the photos — top left, top center and top right — are real and were taken from records at Getty Images, Reuters, and the National Institutes of Health.
All three photos — bottom left, bottom right, and bottom center — seem to have been AI-generated, and they all show Fauci hugging Trump. Two of the fake photos show Trump kissing Fauci on the face.
Insider couldn't find the source of these three images. Google reverse image search couldn't locate the source of any of these pictures.
Farid told AFP it is "highly probable" that the photos were AI-generated.
AI-generated pictures have been circulating in the political arena for several months.
In February, Trump posted a parody AI generated video featuring DeSantis and Elon Mots speaking with Adolf Hitler.
