Elon Musk said to a Twitter user that he didn’t have a home for the FBI and asked when it would be raided.
Elon Musk replied to a tweeter asking when the Federal Bureau of Investigation would raid his house on Saturday. He claimed he didn’t have one.
The Tesla CEO tweeted Saturday, “I don’t have a house.”
Another user asked Musk if he had sold the prefab, tiny house that he claimed to have owned. He replied: “It’s not a rental.”
Musk, who had promised to “own no home” in 2020, sold his seven California residences for $128 million between June 2020 & November 2021.

Insider reported that he previously stated that he moved from California to be closer to a Texas launch site to concentrate on his two companies, SpaceX and Tesla’s new manufacturing facility.
Musk revealed to The Full Send podcast that he lives in Boca Chica, Texas in a “very small” home that cost only $45,000 this summer. Musk denied having a primary residence but he does often stay in the three-bedroom South Texas house. He tweeted that smaller homes felt more “homey”
He said that the house, measuring 900 square feet, “used to have a two-bedroom,” but he converted the garage into the third room. His mother Maye Musk claimed she used the garage as a sleeping area when visiting her son.
Musk stated on August’s podcast, “My friends come to stay and they can’t believe that I’m staying in this home.”
Insider reached Musk but he didn’t respond immediately to our request for comment.
