Maye Musk doesn't really want her son Mark Zuckerberg to fight in a cage-match.
"Don't encourage the match!" She tweeted podcaster Lex Fridman, an AI researcher on Thursday. She added two angry face emojis.
Fridman said he would be "all in" for a Musk-Zuck jiu jitsu fight. Elon Musk responded to Fridman by writing, "Let's do full MMA."
Maye Musk spent the last day attempting to stop the throwdown.
"Actually I cancelled the fight. I haven't yet told them. "But I will continue to state that the fight has been canceled just in case," tweeted she.
She sent a tweet to her son Friday asking him to stop after he suggested that the fight would take place in the UFC Octagon, Las Vegas.
"Fight only with words. In armchairs. Four feet apart "The funniest person will win," she wrote.
Elon Musk suggested a fight. Zuckerberg accepted the bait. It may end up as nothing more than billionaire bluster over Twitter.
The betting odds are still rolling in and some Twitter users made posters for the fight. Musk is incredibly fired up. He'll be facing a younger and fitter Zuckerberg, who has been training in mixed martial art for more than a year.
