Friday’s response by Dr. Anthony Fauci to Elon Musk’s call to prosecute former chief White House Medical Advisor and to his promise to release so-called “Fauci Files,” was Friday.
The new CEO of Twitter teased that the “Fauci files” would be released on New Year’s Day in his latest attack against the former director of NIAID, who was under fire for his restrictive policies during COVID-19.
Musk had promised that the files would be released “later in the week”, but Fauci has not yet revealed any documents nearly two weeks after Musk made the promise.
Musk posted last month, “My Pronouns Are Prosecute/Fauci”, in an attack on Fauci and transgenders’ use of preferred pronouns. Musk did not explain why he believed the doctor should face prosecution.

Neil, I don’t know what he is talking about. I wish I could. Fauci replied, “I mean, I just — he’s not referring to me.”
“He’s talking to — the Fauci files were supposed be out last week. Now we’re at the end. I don’t get what he is doing. He said that he didn’t think he should address it because it was a bit puzzling.
Musk’s $44 billion acquisition of Twitter in October has seen him provide journalists with documents called “the Twitter Files”, which give a glimpse into the past management decisions that led to the censorship of content on the social media platform.
Musk disclosed in December that ex-employees of Twitter had a Slack channel called “Fauci Fan Club”
Cavuto stated to Cavuto that Fauci was being prosecuted. Cavuto also said that he believed Cavuto was too coquettier, and had been working with Twitter, the government to give a general reply to all this. However, Musk has not provided any details. It’s not clear if that information will be forthcoming. It is similar to what Rand Paul said about you in US Senate. Some of these House Republican members said that you made a bad circumstance worse.
Cavuto stated that any congressional hearings on the government’s response in the COVID-19 pandemic could drag on for a while, as may be the case given the GOP’s recent control of the House.
Musk said on Jan. 1 he would release the “Fauci files” but so far has not released any documents.dpa/picture alliance via Getty ImagesFauci has previously said he’d “absolutely” cooperate with an investigation by House Republicans into the pandemic, which he reiterated to Cavuto.
“And what will become will be. Neil, as I already said and will reiterate it again, I respect the process of oversight. I have nothing to hide. I will be able defend everything I have done.
“So many people are spewing out a lot about me and twitter. I don’t have any Twitter accounts. I have never created a Twitter account. I do not intend to have a Twitter account. I have never had anything to do with Twitter. Neil, I don’t really know what they are talking about. It’s just not possible. I’m puzzled.”
