Loup’s Gene Munster suggested that Elon Musk’s resignation from Twitter could be good for Tesla stock. He polled Twitter users to determine if he should resign as CEO.

According to Gene Munster, Loup’s Gene Munster, Elon Musk’s resignation as Twitter CEO would help Tesla stock. Investors want Musk to concentrate more on the electric-vehicle manufacturer.

It’s a positive thing for Tesla because investors want Elon to get more involved with Tesla. It’s not hard to believe that he has a magnetic personality, but Tesla investors do. In an interview with CNBC, Munster stated that having more time to apply for Tesla is beneficial for the many around Tesla.

Munster suggested that Musk’s distancing from Twitter could be a positive sign for Tesla. Tesla has had a difficult year, while Musk was more focused on Twitter.

Tesla stock has fallen 60% so far this year. Munster attributes this to Musk’s declining image as CEO of Twitter.

“I believe that he has been more active on Twitter over the past seven weeks. He has damaged Tesla’s brand. He has become more politically and I believe there is a benefit for Tesla by him taking a step back from Twitter.” he stated. This is a huge deal for Tesla investors, I believe.”

Musk took control of Twitter and began a massive overhaul of its operations. This included massive layoffs as well as radical cost-cutting measures such not paying rent for Twitter offices.

Musk is also in increasing controversy due to his leadership style, his tweets about politics, and some Tesla investors are calling for him out of the social-media company or for a new Tesla CEO.

Musk polled his followers on Twitter to determine if he should resign as CEO. He promised to follow the results. Tesla stock rose 2% Monday after Musk’s Twitter poll revealed that 57.5% of respondents asked him to quit Twitter.

Munster said that he believes Musk will follow the poll results, even though Musk has poured nearly $40 billion into Tesla stock in the past 14 months.

“Underneath, this is his personal way of doing things differently. Elon said that it was unorthodox for a CEO of putting his job up for vote.
