Taibbi made these comments on Monday's episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience", which was published on Monday.
Taibbi, referring to Musk, said that he gets a kick seeing all the stuff emerge on Twitter. Rogan was told by Taibbi that the platform was a "private stomping grounds" for "whiney journalists" before Musk took over. He said they were horrified at the leaks from the "Twitter Files".

Musk responded to a tweet containing a clip from the podcast and said: "Well-said."
Taibbi was previously a writer for Rolling Stone, before setting up his Substack newsletter. Along with Michael Shellenberger and Bari Weiss, he was selected to join the "Twitter Files" team.
Kali Hays, Insider, reported that Taibbi had access to company tools like Slack in December, even though he did not hold an official position at Twitter.

Insider reached Taibbi to request comment, but he did not immediately respond. Insider reached out to Musk and Twitter for comment but they didn't respond.
